Hi! Welcome to my blog, “Magical Girl Tears“! This is a blog for the development of my visual novels. I am also making RPG Maker games but that’s more appropriate for the tumblr version of my game development blog.
It’s easier for me this way because, I feel, that visual novels are just that – novels. For me, I need to sit down and properly blog about it on a space where I have easy access to and it’s right on my fingertips. Not only that, it’s easier for me to use this in case I need to reference something right away versus Tumblr. Tumblr is great for my RPG Maker blog because that involves a lot more screencaps and better connection to the community. I’m pretty shy as hell anyway and, honsetly, I’m scared to start networking within the visual novel community.
I mean, I’m still going to post my games on the Tumblr – only for consistency’s sake and to group both types of games together.
With my experience in Python (okay, one class), I feel I could document my process better with this type of blog rather than a Tumblr one that could be eaten up or lost forever. Again, just convenience.
Anyway, I called this “Magical Girl Tears” because I love magical girls and they always seem to cry. With the amount of tears they always shed, that’s about as many ideas I have for writing visual novels or kinetic.
Um, yeah. I don’t have much else to say other than I’m going to try to finish up this RPG Maker game I’m making and starting this small kinetic novel (entitled “The [XXX] Tragedy” and no, it’s not 18+) before the end of October as sort of a personal challenge. I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it but that’s why it’s called a personal challenge. We shall see.
In any case, thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you’ll enjoy the games I make. :3
